Daniel McClain is an artist whose work often combines surprising

surfaces or scraps of paper with the use of disassembled books.

His emotional pieces feature distinctive imagery of familiar objects

that gives the work a random, arresting quality.

Daniel McClain was born in San Francisco, a graduate from the

California College of the Arts, he works at his Berkeley, California,

studio. His work can be viewed at KALA Art Institute Gallery, and SFMOMA

Artists Gallery. Daniel McClain has exhibited at KALA Art Institute Gallery,

SFMOMA Artists Gallery, Barbara Anderson Gallery, Berkeley Art Center,

The Transmission Gallery, and numerous northern California galleries.
